Leica Truview

Color3D model with point cloud data in TruView. (c) 2012 Darling Geomatics

With Leica Geosystems TruView, users can extract real 3D coordinates and accurately measure distances. Results appear right on the point cloud image. Markups are also easy to create, save and share with your peers, your service provider or with clients for more effective communications.

Darling Geomatics offers this as part of our ever expanding list of deliverables.  The best part is that Leica's TruView plugin for Internet Explorer is free...free to download and free to use!

Our laser scan images can be published for intuitive viewing and measurement over the internet or via local network.  Leica TruView software is for anyone who wants to view, measure or mark-up rich, laser scan point clouds. All that’s needed is access to file sets and the free Leica TruView plugin for Internet Explorer.  Access, viewing, measurement and mark-up can even be done via internet.

Using Leica TruView is intuitive – no skills in laser scanning, CAD, or 3D are needed. TruView provides panoramic images of point clouds on your computer as if you were standing where the laser scanner was. Then, you can freely rotate the view horizontally or vertically and pan/zoom.

Users can extract individual coordinates or measure distances. Mark-ups and hyperlinks are easy to create, save and share for more effective internal and external communications.
